Chad Carman, ATP

I’m Chad Carman, ATP and have been in the industry for going on 13 years. It was always my desire as a kid to be in the health care industry but didn’t really know what interested me. After being introduced to this industry by a close friend that was in sales, this industry intrigued me and I took the job and moved my family to the Seattle area to open the first Seattle based branch for the company. My focus at the time was basic mobility equipment but as I worked with people and saw the vast challenges that people go through, the desire to do more kept growing. And with that desire to be a better representative for my clients I pushed myself into the Rehab side of sales gathering and learning what I could to make sure I was doing the right thing for my clients and getting them the best possible equipment for their medical diagnoses. I am RIDE and PinDot custom seating certified. I am also certified with doing ShurShape  seating along with a vast experience with doing other foam in place seating systems. I stay on top of what is new on the market especially with seating, positioning and custom drive controls. I have been an ATP for the last 7 years and love the challenge of working with the unique situations and medical needs of my clients. Though dealing with insurances will always be the vice and challenge for everyone in this industry, finding the right fit and working on the end result is what makes this work worth it. We don’t know what we have been given till it’s been taken way. Finding ways to regain that mobility for people, preventing occurrences of wounds, preventing postural asymmetries, improving function and independence keeps the desire within me to keep being the best I can be for my clients. We all need or will need help at some point in our lives. I offer my clients the professionalism in how I would want to be treated during those times of need.
