Our Post Falls branch has provided complex rehab products such as manual wheelchairs, power wheelchairs, seating and positioning product for residents in Idaho many years.  Our Post Falls Assistive Technology Professionals are very experienced with working with physical therapists, occupational therapists and and other healthcare professionals all over the state to evaluate and deliver these high end products.  Our staff also specializes in ensuring that all insurance paperwork is processed in the most timely manner to reduce the waiting times to deliver the product that the client was evaluated for.  After approval our team will deliver and service your product ensuring that you will experience the best service possible.

American Seating and Mobility provides manual wheelchair solutions via our professionals staff of Assistive Technology Professionals who works with physical and occupational therapists to evaluate patients for the most appropriate type of manual chair.  Our Billings branch provides light weight and ultralight weight manual wheelchairs for those who use these chairs for their everyday mobility.  We also provide tilt in space wheelchairs for those who are more involved who require more aggressive positioning and pressure relief.

Our Post Falls, Idaho branch provides both standard and high end power wheelchairs via our very experienced staff of insurance processing team and our certified ATPs.  There is very specific criteria that must be met in Idaho when it comes to acquiring a power wheelchair.  We work with your healthcare professionals such as your physical therapist, occupational therapists and/or physician to make sure that you qualify for the most appropriate power wheelchair product for your unique situation.  There is a significant difference between a standard power wheelchair and a more complex power wheelchair that offers power seating functions such as tilt, recline, elevated seating and power leg rest.

Our Post Falls branch is very experienced in evaluating and providing high end wheelchair seating and positioning products for consumers.  Seating and positioning products often include wheelchair backs, cushions, head support, trunk supports, belts and harnesses and any other components to address positioning for those wheelchair users with unique challenges as well as pressure relief solutions to prevent pressure sores that those clients that often have these issues when confined to a wheelchair.  Our staff of ATPs are some of the most experienced in all of Idaho at providing these unique products.  We work closely with the clients healthcare professionals by working together as a team to provide the most appropriate products for your unique situation.

Our Post Falls Branch Professionals

Steven Porter, ATP

Steven has been serving patients in the wheelchair industry for more than five years now.  Starting in wheelchair repairs, he became a certified Assistive Technology Professional in 2014, specializing in wheelchair and rehabilitation equipment sales. Steven has experience and loves working with all types of patients from pediatrics to spinal cord Injuries to patients with neurological conditions and also serving the Geriatric population and their needs. Steven loves a project and the creative process it involves and also seeing his patient’s quality of life improve with the services he provides. He and his wife are currently renovating their fixer upper home in Spokane Valley for their family of four children.

Matt Didsbury, ATP

Matt Didsbury arrived at American Seating & Mobility in the summer of 2008. He came with a background in powered mobility from the Missoula, MT area where he spent seven years. His emphasis is on seating and positioning and assisting clients through the insurance process.  Through education and training he became a certified ATP in 2008 after passing the RESNA certification. His expertise and knowledge has increased the independence in many people’s lives. Matt is active in his community by volunteering at Mt. Spokane Ski Patrol and Spokane Valley Kiwanis.
